I’ve been a big fan of Bryan Baeumler for a while now. I grew up watching his shows on HGTV and I’d be lying if I said he didn’t have an influence on my own career. Recently I heard that he started his own home-service app and I had to check it out. The HeyBryan app allows homeowners to get in contact with local ‘Home-Service Experts’ to get jobs done around the house. You can hire an expert to do anything from painting, to furniture installation, to lawn maintenance, or just general handyman tasks that you may not have the time or the skills necessary to do yourself.

The Tri-blend Bench
Do you sit on the edge of your bed when you get dressed in the mornings? I used to. I used to struggle to wrench my socks on, getting little to no assistance from my soft, cushy, mattress. Oh, it was horrible I tell you! Practically torture. It was the type of pain that only someone born and bred deep in the comforts of the first world can truly appreciate.

You know that move guys do? The move where they forget their spouses birthday and in a last-ditch effort throw a gift together really quickly? Ya, this is nothing like that. I made this desk for my girlfriend’s 30th birthday and it was the result of a lot of planning and work in the months leading up to the big day. Don’t get me wrong, I’m totally the last minute gift type of guy. Just not this time.

Mosaic Faded Coffee Table
This is a project I absolutely didn’t need to make. Weird way to start a post I know, but stay with me here. I just made the herringbone coffee table, like, what a couple of months ago? I REALLY like the herringbone table. Never the less I had this concept in my head and I really wanted to bring it to life. Practicality be damned, I set out to make my second coffee table in as many months!
