The NFTable

Welcome! If you’re reading this right now you likely just scanned my NFTable project, or perhaps you just watched the YouTube video where I made it. Either way, you’re awesome. This project took me countless hours to create and was really a labor of love so I’m really happy you’ve decided to find out more about it.

If you’re at all interested in purchasing the NFT for this table you can do so here: Rarible.com/Zacbuilds

If you’d like to see the original NFT Illustration on the IPFS you can do that here

And of course, if you’d like to see the aforementioned video, you can do that here.

This table is made from solid Black Canadian Walnut and Red Oak (though there is a bit of plywood in there to help with durability too). Each individual QR code pixel was precision milled on a CNC and then painstakingly glued back together by hand. The entire construction process took over 14 days and filming the final video took even longer than that.

The project was my attempt at merging my passions for cryptocurrencies, emerging tech, woodworking, and building. The project blends cutting-edge technologies with what is often considered a much more traditional pass time.

Outside of being a challenge for myself to overcome I’m hoping that this project can inspire others to look at woodworking and building in a new light and see applications for it in a rapidly changing world.
